Doctors Unsure With Michael Schumacher Conditions

Salah seorang atlet yang paling terkenal dan paling tinggi bayaran di dunia, pelumba Formula Satu Michael Schumacher, dalam keadaan koma di sebuah hospital di Grenoble, Perancis. Doktor sedang merawat kecederaan kepala yang kritikal yang dialami beliau pada hujung minggu apabila pemandu Jerman jatuh ketika bermain ski.

Menurut Doktor:

"We cannot predict the future for Michael Schumacher," chief anesthesiologist Jean-Francois Payen told reporters Monday, . "He is in a critical state in terms of cerebral resuscitation. ... We are working hour by hour."

Menurut CNN:

"The 44-year-old German, who retired from the elite motorsport for the second time in 2012, fell and hit his head on a rock Sunday, said the director of the Meribel resort where Schumacher was skiing.  


"Reputed to be a strong skier, the motor-racing star was wearing a helmet when he hit his head, Gernignon-Lecomte said. Rescuers reached him minutes later and airlifted him to a nearby hospital, he said.

M. Schumacher tidak pernah mengalami kecederaan seumpama ini semasa karier. THE AP mencatatkan bahawa kecederaan yang paling serius adalah patah kaki yang dialami dalam kemalangan 1999. Pada tahun 2009 pula M. Schumacher "menderita kecederaan leher dan tulang belakang yang serius selepas kemalangan motosikal" di Sepanyol.
